「デジタル社会とＰＰＰ」
2021年施行の「デジタル社会形成基本法」が示すように、デジタルは部分的に活用する「道具」から「社会基盤」へと大きく移行しつつあります。これまで公共施設等を基盤としてサービス・機能を設計してきたＰＰＰを、デジタル社会に向けてどのようにリノベーションしてゆくのか、現状を紐解きつつ仮説立て／必要な論点を整理します。

Theme: "PPP in the MICE facility business"

MICE facilities are noticeable city infrastructure in the world, since they activate economic activities of business companies, develop science and technologies, culture and arts, and promotes discussions to solve social issues. MICE facilities can be considered as a bigger complex of hotels and conventions which are popular for foreign business managers and several experts in every country. Therefore, more countries would construct and operate MICE facilities from now.In this lecture, we will review operation and project scheme of Pacifico YOKOHAMA, which is the most popular MICE facility in Japan and a core of new business districts in Yokohama City, especially from viewpoints of PPP. Then, we will discuss the required PPP in MICE facility business.

Theme: "JFSA’s Initiatives for User Oriented Financial Services in a New Era"

The lecturer explains characteristics of the Japan Financial Service Agency (JFSA), as an integrated Financial Authority. Then, based on the recent “JFSA Strategic Priorities,” he explores JFSA’s initiatives for user-oriented financial services, including supervisory approach, regional financial institutions issues, long-term asset accumulation, sustainable finance and financial digitalization.
